About
NeuroEmpowered Leicester CIC is a community interest company dedicated to supporting neurodiverse individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, and co-morbid health conditions. Our goal is to provide advocacy, educational resources, and tailored support to help individuals access essential services, maintain their independence, and feel a sense of belonging in their communities. We hope that in the near future we will be looking at ways of providing advocacy services for neurodiverse individuals with co-morbid health conditions. The aim is to pilot our advocacy services in Leicester, where the CIC is based. If you are an individual who would benefit from our support, or feel as though you would like to help us shape this service, please get in touch! At present, our primary focus is sharing our resource guides, to support individuals with maintaining independence and practising self-advocacy. These are available and applicable for individuals anywhere in the UK.
Many neurodiverse individuals face challenges in accessing the right care and support due to a lack of understanding, complex systems, and limited tailored resources. NeuroEmpowered Leicester CIC aims to bridge these gaps by providing practical guidance, advocacy, and peer support to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.”
